How do I pay?
Cash on delivery, on orders up to ₹5,000.
Is it safe to pay on your website?
Yes. The site uses HTTPS encryption, and online payments are handled entirely by Razorpay, an RBI-regulated payment aggregator. We never see or store your card or UPI details.
Are prices inclusive of tax?
Yes. The price shown is the price you pay for the product. Delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay.
My payment failed but money was debited. What now?
If a payment fails, the amount is reversed by your bank automatically, usually within 5–7 business days. If it isn’t, email us with your order number and the payment reference and we’ll help.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, until it is packed. Email us with your order number. See the cancellation policy for details.
Shipping
How much is delivery?
Free on orders of ₹999 or more; otherwise ₹79 per order.
How long will it take?
We dispatch within 1–3 business days and delivery takes 3–8 business days after that, depending on your PIN code.
How do you make sure clay arrives in one piece?
Each piece is wrapped individually, cushioned and double-boxed. If something still breaks, we replace it or refund you. Just email photos within 48 hours of delivery.
Products & care
Is your cookware glazed?
No. Our clay is natural and unglazed, with nothing painted or coated on the inside.
Can I use clay cookware on a gas stove?
Pieces marked “Stovetop cookware” can be used on a gas stove on a low to medium flame after seasoning. They are not for induction. Always heat slowly and never heat an empty pot.
Can I use it in a microwave or oven?
Only pieces marked oven-safe should go into an oven, starting from cold. We don’t recommend microwaving unglazed clay.
Why does my water pot feel wet on the outside?
That’s how a matka cools water: a little water seeps through the clay and evaporates. Place it on a tray or stand.
Why does my piece look slightly different from the photo?
Each piece is hand-made and fired in a kiln, so colour, size and texture vary a little. That is part of its character.
Returns
What is your return policy?
Unused pieces in original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery. Damaged or wrong items are replaced or refunded free of charge.
When will I get my refund?
Online payments are refunded to the original method; banks usually credit it within 5–7 business days after we initiate it.
