Ceronex Kitchen & Living Private Limited (“we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through shopceronex.in, why we collect it, and your choices. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
What we collect
- Order and contact details: name, email, mobile number, delivery address and order notes.
- Account details: if you create an account, your name, email, phone and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in readable form.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive a payment reference, status and method (for example “UPI” or “card”). We do not receive or store card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials.
- Messages you send us through our contact or bulk-enquiry forms.
- Technical data: IP address and browser information in server logs, and a session cookie that keeps your bag and sign-in working.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders, including sending order and delivery emails.
- To process payments, refunds and prevent fraud.
- To answer your questions and enquiries.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
Who we share it with
- Razorpay Software Private Limited, to process payments.
- Courier partners, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
- Our hosting and email providers, who process data on our behalf.
- Government or law-enforcement authorities, where the law requires it.
Cookies
We use one essential session cookie to keep your bag, checkout and sign-in working. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Razorpay may set its own cookies inside the payment window.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and company law require (generally eight years). Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Enquiries are kept for up to two years.
Security
The Website uses HTTPS encryption. Access to order data is restricted to authorised staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing support@shopceronex.in. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it. You may also raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer (see below) and, under the DPDP Act, with the Data Protection Board of India.
