About this piece
Rice cooked in clay comes out fluffy and separate, with a mild earthy aroma. Use the absorption method: measure the water, bring it up slowly and let the pot finish the cooking off the flame.

Use & care
Before first use, soak in water for 6–8 hours, dry, then rub the inside with a little oil and heat gently. Always start on a low flame and raise it slowly; never place on a flame when empty. Wash with warm water, a soft scrubber and a little baking soda or ash — avoid soap, which the clay can absorb. Dry completely, upside-down, before storing.
